PLANIFICACIÓNESTRATÉGICA DE LAS CAJAS COMUNITARIAS Y EMPODERAMIENTO DE MUJERES INDÍGENAS EN LA
PARROQUIA ACHUPALLAS, CANTÓN ALAUSÍ, ECUADOR
consistió en la aplicación de encuestas estructuradas a las integrantes de las cajas comunitarias,
se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a las lideresas organizativas y el análisis
documental del plan estratégico y modelo de gestión institucional. El procesamiento de los
datos fue analizado mediante estadística descriptiva y el análisis de contenido utilizando
herramientas informáticas para la sistematización y la interpretación. Los resultados mostraron
que la planificación estratégica contribuye al fortalecimiento institucional y empoderamiento
de las mujeres indígenas siendo los resultados del empoderamiento económico (30 %),
sostenibilidad institucional (28 %), empoderamiento social (25 %) y articulación organizativa
(17 %). Del mismo modo, se evidenció que la planificación estratégica mejora la gestión
organizativa, fortalece el liderazgo femenino y facilita el acceso a mecanismos de ahorro y
crédito comunitario. Finalmente se concluyó que la planificación estratégica es un instrumento
importante para el fortalecimiento de la sostenibilidad institucional de las cajas comunitarias y
el empoderamiento económico y social de las mujeres indígenas, aportando al fortalecimiento
de la economía popular y solidaria y el desarrollo sostenible de las comunidades rurales.

ABSTRACT: Currently, community savings groups represent fundamental mechanisms for
financial inclusion and organizational strengthening in rural indigenous communities,
particularly within the framework of the popular and solidarity economy. These organizations
enable women to access alternative financial services, strengthen their economic autonomy,
and promote their participation in organizational and community processes. However, many of
these organizations face limitations related to the lack of strategic planning processes, which
affects their institutional sustainability and reduces their impact on the economic and social
empowerment of indigenous women. The research problem lies in the limited implementation
of strategic planning processes in community savings groups in the Achupallas parish, which
restricts their organizational capacity and their contribution to the economic and social
empowerment of indigenous women.The objective of this study was to analyze the relationship
between strategic planning in community savings groups and the economic and social
empowerment of indigenous women in the Achupallas parish, Alausí canton, Ecuador.The
methodology was based on a mixed, descriptive, and analytical approach. Structured surveys
were applied to members of community savings groups, semi-structured interviews were
conducted with organizational leaders, and documentary analysis of the strategic plan and
institutional management model was performed. Data were analyzed using descriptive
statistics and content analysis supported by digital tools. The results showed that strategic
planning significantly contributes to institutional strengthening and women's empowerment,
highlighting economic empowerment (30%), institutional sustainability (28%), social
empowerment (25%), and organizational articulation (17%). Furthermore, strategic planning
improves organizational management, strengthens women's leadership, and facilitates access
to community savings and credit mechanisms. It is concluded that strategic planning is a
fundamental tool to strengthen the institutional sustainability of community savings groups
and promote the economic and social empowerment of indigenous women, contributing to the
